ABOUT KLGCC
Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club is a proprietary club wholly owned and operated by KLGCC Berhad. At its inception, KLGCC Berhad was incorporated as a private limited company on 12th April 1990 under the name Gold Passage Sdn. Bhd.
On 21st March 1991, it changed its name to Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club Sdn. Bhd. and subsequently converted into a public company on 15th December 1992.
The year 1997 marked a milestone in KLGCC’s history when the Club was acquired by Sime Darby, Malaysia’s leading multinational conglomerate.
Well served by major roads and easily accessible from the city centre, it is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The strategic location is certainly the most pleasant and conducive backdrop for business and entertainment.
The Golf Course: West Course (Championship Course)
Total Re-Design and Construction
The West Course was completed in October 2008 and offers pristine playing conditions exceptional detail, aesthetic beauty combined with the importance of player strategy - a “flagship” to the future of golf course design and quality of playing mediums in Asia.
Forwarded is a brief hole by hole description of a course presented for all golfers to enjoy.
Upon the future staging of International Golf Tournaments, the course can be toughened up by growing roughs higher and in many areas, re-contouring fairways to narrow targets.
