Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club is a proprietary club wholly owned and operated by Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club Sdn. Bhd.

The club which commenced operations in 1991, has two 18-hole courses - the west course, an international championship Par 72 course and the East Course a solid wetland themed Par 71 course with facilities for night golfing. KLGCC provides other sports and recreational facilities, including a swimming pool and racquet sports, in addition to a wide range of food & beverage outlets.The year 1997 marked a milestone in KLGCC’s history when the Club was acquired by Sime Darby, Malaysia’s leading multinational conglomerate.

Well served by major roads and easily accessible from the city centre, it is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The strategic location and award-winning course is a pleasant and conducive backdrop for business and entertainment.

The renovations of the West Course were completed in October 2008 and offers pristine playing conditions exceptional detail, aesthetic beauty combined with the importance of player strategy - a "flagship" to the future of golf course design and quality of playing mediums in Asia.

2012 will be the third time KLGCC is hosting the Maybank Malaysian Open having previously hosted the event in 2006 and 2011.
